Born from the Entrepreneur First program in 2021, PhycoWorks exists to create a more sustainable future by restoring the balance between nature and industry.
Our name is a fusion of the Greek word for algae (“phykos”), and the suffix "works," from the industrial powerhouses that drove the industrial revolution. We believe that biology will be transformative in shaping the next industrial revolution and our ambition is to make algae a part of that revolution.
Our mission is to transform chemicals production, by making algae a manufacturing platform for renewable chemicals and materials production.
